Ten weeks to go......

I had my 30 week appointment (translation....only ten weeks to go!) yesterday and all went well. I feel like I had a ton of questions for my doctor this week though because the little guy is kicking like crazy lately!! He is all over the place. One minute, he will be kicking up near the top of my tummy, and then an hour later, he will be kicking my bladder and tailbone. I will be walking at work and get a quick shooting pain down my tailbone and almost lose my balance. I am sure people at work are getting a little laugh when they see that from down the hallway!

For all you prego people out there, you know that you feel like you have to go the bathroom ALL THE TIME....literally! This whole time, we were thinking he was kicking my bladder, but my Dr. thinks that his head is often down, and he is probably just punching my bladder....oh, what do we have in store for us!? A little Dennis the Menace perhaps!?

It's still very fun, but I am getting pretty big, and I think because I am only 5'1'', the baby has nowhere else to go, but out! I have a giant soccer ball on my tummy! It's worked nicely for a little shelf a few times, or a place for my hands to rest themselves:) I also have got the infamous "pregnancy waddle" down perfectly by now, and I can't go up one flight of stairs anymore without looking like I attempted a half marathon. Things have changed alot in the last few weeks, which must mean he is really growing in there!

Tony and I are still working on our nursery. We don't have any furniture yet, but we have time (kind of!) I think the next couple of months are going to fly by! At work, I get to begin my maternity leave two weeks before my due date, so my last day at work will be April 30th....so close! It will nice to get some last minute things done though, and I have a feeling that by then, I will be pretty uncomfortable!

That's about it for an update. My mom and Colleen came to my 30 week appointment, which was fun! Colleen couldn't believe the sound of the heartbeat! It is pretty amazing to be able to hear him in there. We went to breakfast afterwards, which made for a short little "girl hangout" before I had to head back to work for the day. We'll be going every two weeks now for Dr. appt's, so I am sure I will have more
to update (and more pics hopefully soon!)

Lil' Miss Clara Jean Goodman...

Brand new mama Michelle had some of us gals over last night to meet her little Clara Jean. Isn't that just the cutest name you have ever heard?!
She was just a little peanut and I think she looks like her mom! Michelle looked great too, a complete natural!

Didn't she look like a little pea in a pod in the boppy!?

Minnesota Hockey!

The Minnesota State Highschool Hockey tournament is our favorite time of the year, and Conor (STA) made it again this year! Tony and I have had so much fun supporting and going too all of Conor's games throughout his highschool career. This is their last chance at state, and we are all so excited for him. Colleen even made t-shirts that we'll all wear. We are all look dorky and cute, but totally don't care, because we have way too much fun doing it!

Once again, we'll all take off work during the games next week and spend lots of time in downtown St. Paul with the rest of Minnesota's hockey fans!

Pics taken from their section final game this past weekend.

28 Weeks!

Tony and I had our 28 week appointment, and everything looked good! Baby Caswell is kicking like crazy these days, and I have been able to time when he is most active, which has been early afternoon and before I go to bed. He also like to dance a little bit at 3am!
Tony and I were playing with Luca this afternoon, so I will use these pics as my 28 week pics...it's starting to really pop out lately!
Tony and I also decided to take our house off of the market and stay in Lakeville for another year or two. We have so much going on, and with the market down, we decided it would be best for the family to stay in Lakeville for the time being. Now that we have made the decision, we are very excited to start planning the nursey! We are picking out paint today!

Tony and Luca cuddling...she is such a cuddler when no one is around. Everyone else only knows her as a little neurotic puppy!
We are trying to teach Luca patience, but she really wanted this treat!

Baby Goodman Party!

Last weekend, Danni had a baby shower for Michelle, who is due March 3rd....it's coming up so quickly! We had a great time playing some baby shower games, eating tacos and catching up!

Matching Bellies!

My good friend Brooke and I are about two weeks apart in our pregnancy. We have had so much fun going through it all together. We had breakfast with another friend, Ali last weekend, and had a great time catching each other up on our busy lives! We ended our breakfast with a picture of our matching bellies....we can't wait to be moms together!

24 weeks!

Tony and I had our 24 week appointment today, and everything looks good. I am starting to feel little kicks, especially at night. They aren't too strong though, and Tony isn't able to feel them quite yet. Hopefully soon! I am starting to realize I can't do certain things as easy anymore, such as getting up out of bed, bending down to pick something up, and walking up stairs! I get winded from walking up stairs these days! This little guy takes alot of out me!

We took some pictures...the little tot is sure starting to grow!

Luca wanted to come say hi! She loves to get her picture taken:)

Dinner at the Casey's

Kyle and Molly had us over for dinner last weekend. It was fun to talk about baby stuff, and what we can expect. Molly and Kyle are our little experts! It was so fun seeing them with Carter - they are the cutest family! It's amazing how much Carter has already grown since I saw him a few weeks ago. He opens his eyes so much more and his facial expressions are so great!

Tony holding Carter. Kyle and Molly informed us that Carter recently discovered his little hands, so he entertained us with his hand movements while sleeping!

He was such a good boy - slept most the night!
My guess was that he didn't sleep too much that night then.
It's amazing how well Kyle and Molly function off of so little sleep. I guess I should get ready!

Our little Lucer!!

Tony and I love taking pictures of Luca.
She does the funniest things and is always making us laugh!

Sleeping on the couch. She LOVES pillows and always manages to find one to lay down on. We threw the blanket on her though so she could take a comfy nap!

Isn't she sweet!? We call this her love eyes! You simply can't say no to this face!

Our little lazy girl!

Gotta love the ears!

Happy New Year!

We had a fun New Year's this year by getting some friends together and going out to dinner in St. Paul at the Happy Knome. It was fun to celebrate the ball dropping at Rutter's house too, but once the ball dropped, we headed home. It was much later then I can stay up anymore. I can barely last past 9pm these days - I think my body is trying to get as much sleep as it can before the little one comes!

Kate and I enjoying dinner!
