Will is Home!

Will is home.....for good! My parents had the clan over last weekend for some grilling. We planned on all bringing the dogs over (Luca, Bristol, and Manny), but because it was rainy out, we decided to keep them home so poor Declan wasn't attacked with kisses all night long. It's pure chaos when all of the dogs are in the house. We did manage to get a picture of everyone before Conor had to drive back up to SJU.

Sick Day

Last night, Declan was awake every hour with a cough and plugged up nose. Then, this morning, we discovered he had a fever, so we had to keep him home from day-care. I had some morning meetings, so Tony stayed home with him in the morning, and I came home at lunch so Tony could go into the office for the afternoon. Although he didn't feel very well, we still had fun hanging out at home.

I decided it was time to rebrand the blog with a new name, look, and feel. Hope you all enjoy!

Tupperware

We left one cupboard without the safety latches, so Declan could play with the tupperware when I am in the kitchen making supper. He loves to take everything out of the cabinet, and yesterday, decided he wanted to try to go inside the cabinet.

Monthly Playdate

Every month, I get together with some high school friends and our babies. Last time, Molly hosted and made some fabulous enchiladas! I forgot my camera, but Molly took some cute pictures of the boys playing.

BUSTED!

Declan discovered the toilet paper last weekend, and thought it was pretty funny to unroll as much as he could. We were telling him no at this point, but as you can see, he doesn't really seem to notice :-)

Our first HOT day!

Last Saturday, it hit 75 degrees, and Declan and I went over to hang out at Katie's new house because they were all outside getting the house ready for when Will comes home (hopefully this week!) Declan did not like having his bare legs on the grass, but quickly got used to it, and loved being in the sun and hanging with Bristol. We had to go and get some shorts, because I quickly realized that none of his shorts from last summer fit him anymore (obviously), so we made a quick trip to Old Navy. What a great day to be outside!

If you notice, Bristol's huge little puppy eyes as she gives Declan a massive kiss (tongue hanging under his arm!)

So cute!

Yay! This is fun!

Easter Dinner

We had Easter dinner at my parents house, and continued to spend the beautiful day outside. Kate and Colleen each had their little puppies there, Bristol and Manny, and they were both so good with Declan (although they sure liked to wrestle each other!)

And getting into trouble together

Declan isn't quite sure what to think of grass, but he had a blast sitting and checking it out. He never sits in one place very long, but he sat here for about 15 minutes!

Playing with uncle Conor after dinner.....Declan seemed to enjoy the puppies' toys more then his

Easter Brunch

We started out Easter day having brunch at the Caswell's. Ray made some yummy french toast (which Declan adores!) among other things. Ray is such a good cook! We ate so much food that Tony, Declan and I all had to take a little nap before we hit the road to go to my parents. We got some pictures outside before we left.

Easter Morning

The Easter Bunny brought Declan a little basket of toys/snacks. He wasn't quite sure what the basket was, so Tony and I had to help him take everything out. Once he understood that everything was for him, he was loving this Easter thing.

Some baseball cards....of course, went right into his mouth!

The letter/number magnets are still a little small for him, so he has to be supervised, but he likes to put them on the fridge....and throw them across the kitchen and at Luca (poor Lucer!)

Thanks Easter Bunny!

Busy Sunday morning

Declan had a busy morning of playing last weekend. He was having fun talking to Luca over the gate and climbing up and down the stair. He loves to crawl up the stairs, but since the gates are often up, he practices on the one stair on the landing.

When I put him down for his morning nap, he sat up for a little bit chatting. He must have chatted himself to sleep, because when I went in there to check on him, he had fallen asleep in the sitting position.
He didnt look too comfortable!

Thanks Grandma and Grandpa!

Grandpa and Grandma Caswell gave Declan his own chair, which will be perfect for Tony's softball games this summer and grilling out on the deck. Thanks Grandma and Grandpa Caswell!
